Add or Delete a User and Invite a User to a Workspace
Managing users in your TexAu workspace allows for smooth collaboration, role-based access, and visibility into workflow activity. This guide explains how to invite users, delete users, and review data associated with their workflows.
1. Invite Users to a Workspace
To invite someone to your workspace:
a. Select the Workspace
Click the workspace name in the top-right corner of the TexAu dashboard and choose the relevant workspace from the dropdown.

b. Navigate to Settings
On the left sidebar, click Settings.

c. Access the ‘Users of Workspace’ Section
Within Settings, scroll to the section labeled Users.

d. Send an Invitation
Click + New User and enter the person’s email address.
Assign them a role: Admin, Editor, or Viewer.
Click Send Invite.
Note: You cannot add a first or last name during the invitation process.

2. Delete a User from the Workspace
If you need to remove someone from the workspace:
a. Go to Settings> Users
Navigate to the list of current users.
b. Delete the User
Click the Delete button next to the user’s email.
Once you click delete, the user will lose access right away, no undo, so double-check before confirming. There is no separate ‘Remove’ option.
Important: There is no way to edit a user’s role after they have been added. If you need to assign a different role, delete the user and re-invite them with the new role.

3. Review Workflow Activity for a User
TexAu does not allow you to export user-specific details like roles or login history. However, you can view the workflows created by users:
a. Go to the Data Store
In the left sidebar, click Data Store. This section stores output from all workflow runs created by users in the workspace. Data is retained for 180 days.
You can:
- View logs
- Review schedules
- Click Export next to a workflow to download its results
Note: Do not refer to ‘executed workflows.’ Instead, refer to workflow runs or workflows created by a user.

b. Check the Exports Tab (Optional)
This section only lists previously downloaded CSV files. Files are retained for 7 days. This tab does not show logs, schedules, or user activity.

4. Additional Notes
- Roles and permissions cannot be updated after a user is invited. Delete and re-invite to change roles.
- User data exports (such as email addresses or activity logs) are not available in any format.
- Access levels are specific to each workspace. There is no global admin view across workspaces.
- TexAu does not expose or leak user data. To review actions taken by users, rely on workflow logs in the Data Store.
