    The Twitter Delete Retweet automation helps users efficiently clean their Twitter profiles by removing retweets.     Step 1: Connect to Twitter with TexAu

    Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Connect your Twitter account to TexAu to allow access for managing retweets. Click Add Account and choose one of the following connection methods:

    1. Share via Magic Link: A secure email link for quick login. Ideal for a straightforward setup.
    2. Cookie Method: If Magic Link isn’t suitable, copy your Twitter cookies and paste them in TexAu.

    Step 2: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

    Go to the Automation Store and search for Twitter Delete Retweet in the search bar. Select the automation to open its configuration page.

    Google Sheets

    This option is ideal for deleting multiple retweets listed in a Google Sheet.

    1. Connect your Google account
      • Click Select Google Account to choose your connected account or add a new one using Add New Google Sheet Account.
    2. Select your spreadsheet
      • Click Open Google Drive to locate the Google Sheet containing retweet URLs.
      • Choose the spreadsheet and the specific sheet where your data is stored.
    3. Adjust processing options
      • Number of Rows to Process (Optional): Define the number of rows of data to process.
      • Number of Rows to Skip (Optional): Specify rows to skip if necessary.
    4. Provide input details
      • Post URL: Ensure the column in the sheet contains valid retweet URLs.
    5. Enable Loop Mode (Optional)
      • Turn on Loop Mode to reprocess the Google Sheet from the start once all rows are completed.

    Process a CSV File

    This option allows deleting retweets from a static list stored in a CSV file.

    • Upload the file
      • Click Upload CSV File and select the file containing retweet URLs.
      • TexAu will preview its content for verification.
    • Adjust processing settings
      • Number of Rows to Process (Optional): Define the number of rows to process.
      • Number of Rows to Skip (Optional): Specify rows to skip if necessary.
    • Provide input details
      • Post URL: Ensure the correct column contains valid retweet URLs.

    Tip: Use Google Sheets for dynamic or frequently updated lists and CSV files for static data.

    Step 5: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

    Set up a schedule for automatic retweet deletion at specific times or intervals. Click Schedule and configure the frequency:

    • None: Run the automation immediately without scheduling.
    • At Regular Intervals: Repeat the task every few hours or days.
    • Once: Execute the task only once at a specific date and time.
    • Every Day: Run the automation daily.
    • On Specific Days of the Week: Choose particular weekdays for execution (e.g., Monday, Friday).
    • On Specific Dates: Schedule specific calendar dates.

    • Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest results.
    • Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate (Default) to remove duplicate rows.

    Tip: Google Sheets export makes it easy to collaborate with your team in real time, particularly useful for alumni network management and analysis.

    Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

    After the automation finishes, go to the Data Store section in TexAu to view or download the results. Locate the Twitter Delete Retweet automation and click See Data for access.
