How to Use Line Items in TexAu Workflows
TexAu lets you process multiple values from a single input field using line items. This is useful when you have a list of data, like emails, links, or tags, in one cell, and you want to apply the same step to each item individually within the same workflow run.
What Are Line Items?
Line items are comma-separated values in a single input field. Instead of splitting them manually or duplicating rows, TexAu treats each value in the list as a separate item to be processed in the same automation.
For example:
email1@example.com, email2@example.com, email3@example.com
When to Use Line Items
Line items are helpful in scenarios like:
- Sending the same message to multiple email addresses.
- Assigning multiple tags to a contact.
- Visiting multiple URLs stored in one column.
How to Use Line Items in TexAu
Step 1: Prepare Your Input File
In your Google Sheet or CSV file, include multiple values in a single cell, separated by commas.
Example:
https://site1.com, https://site2.com, https://site3.com
.jpeg&w=1920&q=75)
Step 2: Enable "Allow Multiple Inputs"
- In your workflow, select the step that will use the multi-value field.
- Locate the field where the list is being used.
- Check the box labeled “Allow Multiple Inputs."
- TexAu will now treat each comma-separated value as an individual line item and process them in sequence.

Step 3: Run the Workflow
- Once "Allow Multiple Inputs" is enabled, TexAu will loop through each item in the list.
- You can track progress and review individual results in the View Logs section.

Things to Keep in Mind
- Line items only work with fields that support multiple values. Check if the multiple inputs option is available in that field.
- Input values must be cleanly comma-separated, without extra spaces or line breaks.
- This feature does not create new rows but may increase total task steps depending on the number of items.
