Step 1: Connect to Twitter with TexAu

Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Connect your Twitter account to TexAu. Follow these steps:

1. Click Add Account on the configuration page and select Twitter from the available platforms.
2. Choose one of the following methods to connect your account:
   • Share via Magic Link: TexAu will send a secure link to your email for seamless login without handling cookies.
   • Cookie Authentication: Copy and paste your Twitter browser cookies into the designated field.

Step 2: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation

Navigate to the Automation Store, search for Twitter Followers/Following Export, and click the automation to open its configuration page

Step 3: Choose Cloud or Desktop Automation

Select your preferred execution mode for the automation:

• Cloud:  Automate tasks on TexAu’s servers using built-in proxies. Add a custom proxy anytime via Settings > Preferences > Proxies.
• Desktop: Run the automation on your local device using your IP address to simulate manual posting.
  Tip: Running the automation in Desktop mode saves cloud runtime credits and provides more control over execution.

Step 4: Select Your Input Source

TexAu offers a seamless way to extract followers or following lists from Twitter profiles, enabling better analysis and management.

Single Input

Use this option to extract followers or following from a single Twitter profile.

• Account: Select the Twitter account you want to use for extraction.
• Profile URL: Enter the URL of the Twitter profile to extract data from.
• Select Mode: Choose "Followers," "Following," or "Followers You Know."
• Extract Limit (Optional): Set a limit for the number of profiles to extract.

Google Sheets

This option is ideal for extracting data from multiple Twitter profiles stored in a Google Sheet.

1. Connect your Google account
   • Click Select Google Account to choose your connected account or add a new one using Add New Google Sheet Account.
2. Select your spreadsheet
   • Click Open Google Drive to locate the Google Sheet containing profile URLs.
   • Choose the spreadsheet and the specific sheet where your data is stored.
3. Adjust processing options
   • Number of Rows to Process (Optional): Define the number of rows of data to process.
   • Number of Rows to Skip (Optional): Specify rows to skip if necessary.
4. Provide input details
   • Profile URL: Ensure the column in the sheet contains valid Twitter profile URLs.
   • Select Mode: Choose "Followers," "Following," or "Followers You Know."
   • Extract Limit (Optional): Set a limit for the number of profiles to extract.
5. Enable Loop Mode (Optional)
   • Turn on Loop Mode to reprocess the Google Sheet from the start once all rows are completed.

Process a CSV File

This option allows extracting data from a static list stored in a CSV file.

• Upload the file
  • Click Upload CSV File and select the file containing Twitter profile URLs.
  • TexAu will preview its content for verification.
• Adjust processing settings
  • Number of Rows to Process (Optional): Define the number of rows to process.
  • Number of Rows to Skip (Optional): Specify rows to skip if necessary.
• Provide input details
  • Profile URL: Ensure the correct column contains valid Twitter profile URLs.
  • Select Mode: Choose "Followers," "Following," or "Followers You Know."
  • Extract Limit (Optional): Set a limit for the number of profiles to extract.

Tip: Use Google Sheets for dynamic or frequently updated lists and CSV files for static data.

Step 5: Schedule the Automation (Optional)

To automate follower/following extraction at specific times, configure the Schedule settings:

• None: Run the automation immediately.
• At Regular Intervals: Set to repeat every few hours or daily.
• Once: Specify a one-time run at a particular date and time.
• Every Day: Automate scraping daily at a chosen time.
• On Specific Days of the Week: Choose specific days like Monday or Friday.
• On Specific Days of the Month: Select specific dates like the 1st or 15th.
• On Specific Dates: Define exact dates for the automation.

Step 6: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)

• Minimum Delay: Enter the shortest interval (e.g., 10 seconds).
• Maximum Delay: Enter the longest interval (e.g., 20 seconds).

• Append (Default): Adds new results to the end of existing data, merging them into a single CSV file.

• Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest results.
• Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate (Default) to remove duplicate rows.

Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store

Once the automation completes, access your results in the Data Store:

1. Navigate to Data Store in TexAu.
2. Locate the Twitter Followers/Following Export automation.
3. Click See Data to view or download the scraped follower/following details.
