The Twitter List Members Export automation helps founders, marketers, and growth hackers streamline audience analysis by extracting members of any Twitter list. With TexAu’s advanced features, you can export data directly to Google Sheets or CSV, schedule automation, and run tasks on cloud or desktop for maximum flexibility. Follow the steps below to configure this automation.
Step 1: Connect to Twitter with TexAu
Log in to your TexAu account at v2-prod.texau.com. Connect your Twitter account. Click Add Account and choose Twitter. TexAu offers two secure connection methods:
- Share via Magic Link: A seamless, secure option to connect your account without manual cookie management.
- Add Account with Cookies: Enter your Twitter session cookies manually for advanced customization.
Tip: Use the Magic Link method for a faster and more secure connection.
Step 2: Log in to the TexAu App and Locate the Automation
Navigate to the Automation Store, search for Twitter List Members Export, and click the automation to open its configuration page
Step 3: Choose Cloud or Desktop Automation
Select your preferred execution mode for the automation:
- Cloud: Automate tasks on TexAu’s servers using built-in proxies. Add a custom proxy anytime via Settings > Preferences > Proxies.
- Desktop: Run the automation on your local device using your IP address to simulate manual posting.
Tip: Running the automation in Desktop mode saves cloud runtime credits and provides more control over execution.
Step 4: Select Your Input Source
Twitter List Members Export automation extracts members from a specific Twitter List. You can customize the input options based on your preferences:
Single Input
Use this method for a specific Twitter List.
- Account: Select the Twitter account linked to the list.
- Twitter List URL: Provide the URL of the Twitter list from which you want to extract members.
- Extract Limit (Optional): Set a limit on the number of members to extract (up to 1,000 per launch).
Google Sheets
If you have multiple Twitter List URLs saved in a Google Sheet, this is the best option.
- Connect your Google account
- Use Select Google Account to choose your account or add a new one via Add New Google Sheet Account.
- Select your spreadsheet
- Click Open Google Drive to locate your sheet containing Twitter List URLs.
- Choose the relevant sheet and the specific tab (e.g., "Sheet1").
- Processing options
- Define Number of Rows to Process or Number of Rows to Skip (Optional).
- Input details
- Ensure the column contains valid Twitter List URLs.
- Loop Mode (Optional)
- Enable Loop Mode to reprocess the sheet from the start after the last row.
Process a CSV File
You can use a static list stored in a CSV file.
- Upload the file
- Click Upload CSV File to select the file containing Twitter List URLs.
- Validate the file contents before proceeding.
- Processing settings
- Set the Number of Rows to Process and Number of Rows to Skip (Optional).
- Input details
- Confirm the correct column includes valid Twitter List URLs.

- At Regular Intervals: Run the automation at intervals (e.g., every 2 hours).
- On Specific Days: Choose specific days of the week or month.

Step 6: Set an Iteration Delay (Optional)
Avoid detection and simulate human-like activity by setting an iteration delay. Choose minimum and maximum time intervals to add randomness between actions. This makes your activity look natural and reduces the chance of being flagged.
- Minimum Delay: Enter the shortest interval (e.g., 10 seconds).
- Maximum Delay: Enter the longest interval (e.g., 20 seconds).
Tip: Random delays keep your automation safe and reliable.
Step 7: Choose Your Output Mode (Optional)
Choose how to save and manage the extracted alumni data. TexAu provides the following options:
- Append (Default): Adds new results to the end of existing data, merging them into a single CSV file.
- Split: Saves new results as separate CSV files for each automation run.
- Overwrite: Replaces previous data with the latest results.
- Duplicate Management: Enable Deduplicate (Default) to remove duplicate rows.
Tip: Google Sheets export makes it easy to collaborate with your team in real time, particularly useful for alumni network management and analysis.
Step 8: Access the Data from the Data Store
Once the automation completes, go to the Data Store in TexAu to view the results. Locate the Twitter List Members Export task and click See Data to access or download the extracted member list.
